Let Your Light Shine for 2012 -This is Sean’s 3rd book of explaining the link with Jesus and Mary Magdalene who plays an important role in our future as well as being part of the Divine Feminine. Sacred Tools Book -This is Sean’s 4th book in response to many requests from his student therapists and clients asking for guidelines and support to help them connect with Source. Sean uses his life experiences as a nursing monk and qualified nurse in palliative care for almost 38 years. Blessed Healing Oils
The Process:
During a period of prayer in silence (11pm-1am), before the Christ and the Angelic energies, brother Sean prepares the carrier oil and having added several drops of the essences with the grains of incense, the oils are blessed. he then proceeds to bless the oils by incensing the oil glorifying God. He then invites, invokes and asks the Lord Christ, in the presence of the Archangels, all healing angels, and Spirit Guides, together with Mary Magdalene, Mary the Mother of Jesus and all the Ascended Masters, to be present during the actual blessing of the oils. Silently and prayerfully, Sean takes the container of blessed oils and infuses his healing energies into the oils thanking Source for blessing the healing oils that will be used to impart the healing energies of God to those who seek divine healing love and light.
The blessed oils are unique in that they combine several healing essences with the purest incense. The oils were originally used by Mary of Magdala to anoint the feet of Christ before he offered himself as a living sacrifice of love for our liberation and freedom.
Background Information
The ancient Scriptures have over 200 references to healing oils, aromatics, incense and ointments throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. Aromatics, such as frankincense and myrrh, galbanum, cinnamon, cassia, rosemary, hyssop, and spikenard, were used for anointing and healing the sick.
In the Bible there is reference to an incident where the offering of incense by Aaron stopped a plague. Throughout world history, the use of fragrant oils and spices played an important as well as a prominent role in everyday life. One of the Dead Sea Scrolls on display in Israel at the shrine of the Book Museum, contains an important yet intriguing phrase: “and he will know his children by their scent”.
The 12 century mystic. St Hildegard von Bingen, used herbs and oils extensively in healing. Her renowned book, Physica, has more than 200 chapters on plants and their uses on healing. The rediscovery and reintroduction of essential oils into modern medicine first became evident during the late 19 and early 20 century.
The use of sacred oils is recorded in the Gospel of John 12:3 “Then Mary Magdalene took a pound of the ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. Here we are guided to follow the example of Mary and during the Therapeutic Channelled treatment we are guided to anoint the feet and hands of our clients with oils that have been prepared and blessed by our student therapists during their residential course in training to be Channeller’s of the Christ / angelic energies.
I was guided in prayer to use specific oils and stick to a very simple blessing. First let us look at the oils we now use in our treatments with clients. We add to a 1litre bottle of pure virgin olive oil, several drops of the following ingredients:
- Rosemary
- Eucalyptus
- Lavender
- Spikenard
- Several drops from the sacred oils brought by Brother Sean from his monastic days as a nursing monk.
- Several grains of frankincense.
The actual blessing of the oils is performed in the presence of our student therapists by placing on a small table a white linen cloth to which the following are added:
- Their bottles of pure virgin olive oil
- The above essential oils
- A lighted candle
- Holy / blessed water
- An incense burner with charcoal that has been ignited ready to use.
- Frankincense
Incense: in the Old Testament Bible, there are accounts when incense was used for ritual. In the New Testament Bible records that wise men presented the Christ child with frankincense, gold and myrrh.
It is a grainy substance made from resins of various plants that give off an aromatic odor when burned; used in divine worship as a symbol of the ascent of prayer to God. Frankincense is what we use when administering a blessing to the grains before being used in the oils that our therapists use on clients. The use of incense is not strictly confined to blessing oils, we use incense to bless the workroom, our therapy rooms and each other before and during a healing meditation.
In the Old Testament Bible, the teachings explains the Law, shows how man’s deviation from it is the cause of all his problems.
What to do when you receive your oils:
The Blessing of clients, family members or friends in need –apply a few drops of the oils to your fingers and gently apply to the forehead /Third Eye.
For anointing a client’s feet and hands: you can add the contents of the glass bottle to a 1 litre bottle of pure virgin olive oil and leave to stand for several minutes. Gently shake the container to allow all the healing essences in the blessed oils to infuse the remaining oils, ready for therapeutic use with clients. When finished, place bottle of sacred oils in your prayer / therapy room where the energies will continue to do their work.
